packers suck shit
so glad to see that the packers who were all upset about the warren sapp hit(perfectly legal) have no problem doing the same in a situation where the game is over. and brett farve that little fucking pussy should have been ejected from the first game, and fined significantly more for his out of bounds, leading with the helmet, hit in the first game, has the audacity to claim that hovan was giving him the finger(not shown on the video tape) when it turns out that he was giving the finger to hovan(very clearly caught on video tape). and what is up with that small dicked motherfucker antuan edwards? when someone takes a knee, the play is over. why did you find it necessary to lay out chris walsh after he had taken a knee? just being a prick i guess, like the rest of the packers. he couldn't get a good hit on walsh legally so he took his cheap shot when he had the chance. maybe next time when sapp is looking to hit someone he should find either antuan edwards, or farve, at least then he'd be doing us a favor by removing dicks from the league. and another thing, the nfl officials have come out and said that they have blown at least 3 call in minnesota games that went against the vikings. and people still think we don't need full time officials.

and now we have conformation that the officials suck
there was no whistle blown when he took his knee like a whimp. you gotta try and force the fumble if the play is still "officially" alive.
i only watch footbal cuz of the packers, so back off ;)
Posted by: drew on December 12, 2002 10:46 AMhey, maybe we could have a weblog rivalry like the one between the packers and the vikings :)
Posted by: drew on December 12, 2002 10:48 AMmy main point was the hypocrisy of the packers in complaining about the warren sapp hit while doing the same and more in the vikings game.
by the way, there is no possiblity that chris walsh is a wimp. he is the only player i've ever seen knock the same opponent out twice in 1 game. he was taking a knee so that the vikings could call a timeout. the fact that the refs forgot that they were supposed to blow the whistle is just more evidence that the refs need to be full time like in every other major sport.
oh and there is no way that could have resulted in a fumble since walsh was already down, and contact by a packer would have ended the play before a fumble could have happened (the down by contact rule), even if you disregard the "player giving himself up" rule. it's just the packers trying to manufacture a defense for antuan edwards cheap play after the fact.
Posted by: dan on December 12, 2002 11:22 AMone more note, the vikings had many chances to win that game, they just choked like usual. it just doesn't help when the refs make 9 certified bad calls against them.
oh and the head of officiating for the vikes-pack game, none other than walter "tuck rule" coleman. when are they going to fire this dumbass?
Posted by: dan on December 12, 2002 11:36 AMyou have all valid points, i was just trying to stirr things up ;) especially with the wimp comment. i don't follow football at all. i just ike watching favre and the packers.
i for one don't think that ferguson's touchdown was one. that ball should have been on the one.
those refs did suck. probably too cold for them.
