sushi and the magic smoke

i had sushi for the first time last night, and it was good. i know, eating raw fish, ugh, but it was good really. the only thing i had a problem with was the tuna in the elvis roll. for some reason it was just a cold slimey mass, and that wasn't good. i liked the tuna in other rolls, just not the elvis roll. maybe it was the cream cheese around it that made it taste bland.

also yesterday i fried the second usb controller on my motherboard. i had bought a usb faceplate, but when i hooked it up, and powered on, all i got was magic smoke and that lovely burned electronics smell. i quickly shut it off, disconnected the faceplate, and turned it back on with a sinking feeling in my chest, but to my suprise, it booted up and doesn't seem to be an worse for wear, despite the big black charred area on my mb.
