100 year flood

so i think it's me, cuz while i was in fargo we had the 100 year flood of 97, and now in las vegas we just had the 100 year flood, on my birthday no less.

i just set up some streaming radio stations in freevo, and am listening to kexp from seattle(hi robyn, call me) as we speak. it's kind of a nice change after 3 months of recursive random play of my ogg vorbis collection(ok so half of them are mp3s, but all the new stuff is ogg).

so bush fights wars how i imagine he fucks, a great start, but blows his wad early and loses interest. he can't finish anything right. i feel sorry for laura(his ugly wife). evidently they figured that once saddam left power that the rest of the country would fold with no resistance. i guess they didn't read about the french resistance in ww2. i mean the french folded with hardly a tap, but they managed to be a pain in germany's ass for the rest of the war. not to say that the iraqi resistance is on the side of good like the french one was, but they are being a serious pain in our ass. bush needs to be honest with the american public and send a overwhelming force over to iraq and do nation building right. this doing things on the cheap is being pennywise and pound foolish. i didn't agree with the reasons for the war, but let's finish what we started, and make iraq a shining example for the middle east instead of a total fucking mess.
