so anyhow...
well i guess it's been awhile since i've written anything here, so i guess i should start again. this weekend i was in santa babara to play ultimate, and here are the photos. i think a good time was had by all, even though we went 1 - 6. we had a lot of people who were going to a tournament for the first or second time, and it's really hard to adjust to tournament speed, so as a result we lost at least 1 game that we would have won at the end of the tournament. i think i'm going to start telling people that i play soccer, as it's much easier than explaining what i play everytime(no it's not disc golf, and it doesn't involve a dog, or tricks).
so i've been listening to an early release of anchorhead's new album, and i would just like to go on record as saying that it is very good. the two songs that have stuck in my head since the first listen are 'first time' and 'little white church'. first time hits a little close to home though. :) the rumour is that this will be an open source release just like their last album, but ya'll should just get yer pocketbooks out and buy the album once it's available. for that matter, you should buy their last album too if you haven't already. i'm always amazed that real country music is being saved by punk rockers.
speaking of music, agnula is a completely open source live cd audio workstation, that runs linux, jack, and a whole slew of audio apps. and here is a howto for building a solid state linux audio workstation.
