tough love

i realize this is a few days late, but this is how we treat people at guantanamo bay(nytimes, free reg etc). nice to see the government is consistent in their denial of abuse. and our intelligence is consitently bad as well. scary to think that the fbi is willing to ignore all good evidence to keep someone in jail.

so reagan has died, and the whole nation seems to be in mourning. i don't understand it, i mean nixon was almost as crooked as reagan and he got nowhere near the attention when he died. but i guess even in death the teflon president's nonstick lives on. now all that's left is to watch the republican party try to hitch shrub to reagan's casket, and get pulled to another term.

so it's official, i have lost 20 lbs. now if i can only keep it off for 6 months my parents will have to buy a ticket for me to come back and visit them. here's a chart of my weight loss:
