our country is a farce,

our country is a farce, our society is a farce, our world is a farce. we talk of progress, but where is the progress towards truth, and equality, and freedom? we are less free than any time in the last 200 years. the truth no longer matters, just what sounds good. and equality? there was more equality in the times of serfs than now. why did we let this happen? how could we have not seen it coming, and how could we have not fought it? we've let the weak minded, petty, low class, bullies among us become the rulers, and no one has the guts to bloody their noses. someone has to, but the thing is that the masses are too stupid to realise that they are being bullied, and so would not see it as the weak fighting against their domination, but instead would see it as the prom king receiving a cheap shot. which of our forefathers said that we needed a revolution every few decades? well he was right, but the problem is keeping the bad revolts down, and letting the good ones succeed. our country is based on government handouts, both monetary, and policy. the cotton and paper industries keep hemp down, the government makes more money on tobacco than tobacco companies, but still allows people to sue the tobacco companies, bush appoints ex-military contractor ceos to oversea the military, how much of a kick back do you think their going to get? it might not be a under the table payment as such, but just think of the salaries they will command when they go back to the private world, working for the companies that benefitted so much from the last 4 years of policies? why aren't we outraged about this? why doesn't it matter to us that we make less today than we did in the 50s? how come we willingly accept that the lottery is just about as likely as being able to start as a welfare baby, and end up a millionaire? usa the country of dreams? fuck that, we are the country of fantasies, that are never fulfilled for 99.99% of us. hell, even ivory has less soap than we have failure in this country. the rich get richer, the middle class gets poorer, and the poor are there to scare the hell out of the middle class(this is a weird distortion of some comedian(i think george carlin, but i'm not sure))

by the few, of the few, for the few, fuck the rest!

i have just too much

i have just too much info, and some of it i'm not sure i should write about. i have been to a vegas strip club, and i'll just say that you don't sit on your hands here. i still don't have a job, and i'm still pissed off about the middle east. that said, i do have some interesting things i've found. there are two web sites being served by c64s. the first is using a custom made ethernet card and is also a real audio server, but i haven't been able to listen yet 1 the second is connected over a serial line, and it is just serving a web page 2

i'm slowly getting better at ultimate, but recently i've had a few issues with people that i play with. the first issue was a player who came right up behind me just after i had caught the disc, and was telling me to dump it to him. now if the stall count had been higher, it would have been no problem, but since i had just caught the disc, it was like he was saying that he didn't trust me to be able to complete a real throw. that kind of pissed me off. the second was when a guy on the other team kept telling anyone guarding me to force me to the forehand throw. of course i'm probably better at the forehand that i am at the backhand(normal), so it wasn't a problem, it was just his assumption that i wasn't capable to throw a forehand that pissed me off. as a footnote, i completed all my passes to the forehand side. anyhow, besides those kind of petty issues, i'm having lots of fun playing, and i've almost lost all the weight i gained when i started playing. when i arrived in vegas, i weighed 200 pounds, and after playing ultimate for 1 month, i weighed 220 pounds. i am now down to 205 pounds, and feeling like i'm at 190.

i was going to go bike riding today, but it looks like it is too windy. that is one thing about vegas, in the spring, the wind blows constantly. it does have a tendency to die down after it gets dark, but that doesn't help me if i want to bike around red rock canyon.

i gave in and ordered a complete set of mame roms from a guy on the internet. they arrived a few days ago, and i have been playing all sorts of weird games ever since. i think i now have 3100 out of 3123 games. that's all for right now, so ttfn.

i just want to self

i just want to self rate this web site as crude, pornographic, obscene, and having no social value at all, so if there are any little puritan fuckheads out there, you should stop reading now.

why is it that liberals have become psychotic when it comes to things like gun control? they are just as narrow minded as the conservatives, believing anything they are told regardless of the facts. realising the danger of sounding like a nra ad, i must tell you that having guns in the house is not a danger. the 40+ times you're are more likely to be injured in your own house rather than an intruder included suicides, and neglected all cases where the intruder was not killed(a vast majority). the second amendment states "A well-regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." it does not say "in the absence of a well organized militia" as many anti-gun people state, insinuating that because we have a military that we no longer have the right to have guns. in actual fact, the supreme court has many times ruled that the armed forces, including the national guard, are not the militia referred to in the constitution. gun control has not made us safer. point in fact, many states which have adopted strict gun control have had an increase in gun violence since the enactment. england which has some of the strictest gun control in europe, still has a much higher violent crime rate than switzerland, which has about the least strict gun laws. in switzerland, everyone is required to own military weapons which the united states has banned on the premise that it helps stop crime. now ask yourself, how many crimes are committed using m16s? less than 1%, but we still banned them to stop crime. that makes about as much sense as the war on drugs where we claim that drugs cause crime, when actually their illegality causes crimes by creating the need to smuggle, and artificially inflating the price. how much stealing would go on if cocaine was priced in the same range as beer? how much crime is related to alcohol now compared to when it was banned during prohibition? anheiser busch isn't gunning down coors in the streets of chicago are they? legalize drugs and you take away the crime associated with smuggling it, distributing it, at the same time as you eliminate the need to steel to support your habit, since it is now cheap. you also can regulate the quality of it, making overdoses more infrequent. you also eliminate the substitue drug business(taking cocaine+lsd or dmx when you thought you were taking mdma). if we would all just think our policies through, this country would be a much better place to live. we need to quit seeing the symptoms as the cause, and quit looking for a quick fix to everything. drugs are not the problem, and guns are not the problem. people are the problem, and when we ban the symptoms, we don't fix anything, in fact, we can make it worse by making people feel like the government is overstepping its bounds, which it is. sorry about the rambling nature of this, but i'm kind of tired, and thinking while i type, which is never a good combination.

homicide bomber? what the fuck

homicide bomber? what the fuck does that mean? to me it means that it was a suicide bomber who was successful at killing people. do we really want to make that distiction? so if they only destroy buildings and themselves, then they are a suicide bomber, otherwise they are a homicide bomber? isn't the point of all bombings in war homicide? then isn't it redundant to say homicide bomber since homicide is understood in enactment.e term bomber? suicide is needed as a descripter to indicate that the bomber was there at the time of the explosion, and made no attempt to save their own life. how fucking dumb is shrub, and the american media, that they think this is some big step that the shrub admin is calling them homicide bombers. what about the homicide soldiers on the israeli side? the homicide bulldozers that are killing palestinians in jenin? or the homicide snipers that are shooting ambulance drivers, and children, and reporters?

speaking of israeli actions, now they are burying palestinians in mass graves. i guess they weren't lying when they said, back in the 80's, that they learned well from the nazis. why are they preventing the press from seeing what is going on? what are they hiding? anytime a country prevents the press from seeing what it is doing, things are bad, why doesn't the media make more of an issue about this?

fuck israel. fuck palestine. fuck sharon. fuck arafat. fuck the media. fuck the congress. fuck george bush. fuck his ugly wife(and yes todd, she is ugly, despite your weird laura fetish). fuck all these assholes. fuck you. fuck me. fuck everyone. stigmata.

this is going to be

this is going to be a triple update, since my server was down for the weekend. i went to san diego this weekend. ok, i really stayed in oceanside, which is about 40 miles from san diego, but i did drive into san diego on sunday. it was so wonderful to get to walk on the beach again. it had been at least 12 years since i had seen the ocean, so even though it was pretty cold, i went wading in the surf. i think that i will be going back some time this month with craig and carmen and janelle, and i found the perfect attaction for us to visit. legoland!

and now for a few observations. for a state with that much pollution, they sure make a big deal over second hand smoke. i mean come on, why should you be able to breath better inside than outside? it just seems silly. israel. what can i say that i haven't already said? what a counter productive action sharon has taken. all he is doing is inciting more violence. if the israelis think that arafat has control over these suicide bombers, they are mistaken, and if they think that by isolating, or killing him the bombing will stop, they are mistaken. so what do they truly hope to achieve by this attack? thats the question. it seems that all they are trying to do is harass the palestinians. they think that with the us fighting the war on terrorism that they can treat the palestinians like the nazis treated them, and no one with say boo. just like they want arafat to arrest the militants, but when he does, they attack the prisons saying that there are militants there(of course there are, arafat did what you asked and arrested the militants).
